I am the Director of Education and oversee all of the educational activities of the Wilsonville campus. Prior to this I was a Program Director and instructor in the Pharmacy Technician and Massage Therapy programs. In addition, I was an instructor in other programs as well.

My home state is Indiana where I attended Purdue University, completed my pre-med studies and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in microbiology. I also minored in chemistry, mathematics and business. I earned a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at National College in Portland, Oregon.

I also attended Logan University near St. Louis, Missouri where I earned a second Bachelor of Science Degree in human biology and a Doctorate in Chiropractic. I have extensive experience in business management and have been involved in education for a number of years.

Travel and many other things interest me but I have found education and teaching to be especially rewarding. My students have been employed in all levels of medicine and healthcare as well as many other professions. One of my greatest rewards is to see students grow in knowledge and maturity as they progress in their education. Graduation is a particularly rewarding experience where all of the efforts from both students and faculty are recognized and honored.

Many don’t know this but I grew up in a challenging environment. As a teen I joined a large competitive Drum and Bugle Corps and travelled all over the central, southern and eastern United States to participate in competitions. This provided me with a strong work ethic, musical instruction and discipline. This experience also taught me how to work as part of a team for the ultimate good of the corps. Without that experience there is no telling where I would have ended up. To this day I still follow Drum Corps and encourage you to visit dci.com and view some videos to see what it’s all about. Next year I will attend the national championship competition in Indianapolis, Indiana.

I still practice as a primary care physician and, as a cancer survivor, providing cancer diagnostic services to women in need through the Oregon Breast and Cervical Cancer Program. If I had the power to do so, I would provide the world with a cure for all forms of cancer and rid mankind of this heinous disease.

Never allow your present situation to keep you from reaching your potential. Your education at Pioneer Pacific College is an excellent way to prepare you for a new and rewarding future.
