Paralegal Studies/Criminal Justice/General Education
Kimberly started working in the higher education system in 2010 after taking a few years off to raise her son. Prior to teaching, she had worked in the private sector of law enforcement, working as an Organizational Manager and background investigator for a background screening company, as well as had previously conducted investigations for a major satellite television company.
She currently holds a BS in Psychology and Sociology from Oregon State University, a BA in English and Criminal Justice, as well as an AAS in Paralegal Studies from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. Kimberly completed her Masters in Criminal Justice at Boston University and is currently in the dissertation phases of her PhD in Public Safety with an emphasis in Criminal Justice.
Kimberly enjoys spending time with her son, cats, and dogs. When she is not with her family, she enjoys photography and running.
