Melba Eileen Drew
Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oregon Health Science University
“I attended college at OHSU at the OIT campus in Klamath Falls Oregon. Graduated Cum Laude with a BSN in 1994. I then joined the Army Nurse Corp and was stationed at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. It was an honor to serve our country.
I was born and raised in Oregon so I am an original webfoot. I traveled as an OR Nurse for 18 years prior to finding this opportunity to put my years of experience to use as an adjunct instructor. My favorite parts of this job are the students and the wonderful staff. I enjoy coming to work and the time I am here goes by too fast. My son is also an RN and works for Reach Life Flight out of Corvallis. I am so very proud of him. He is smart, kind, loving, compassionate and a gentle soul. He is my greatest accomplishment on this earth.
I would like the super power of staying young, so I could keep up with my seven grandchildren. The two youngest wear me out because they are always looking for something new to get into, but I love it.”
