Oregon Culinary Institute Programs
The Oregon Culinary Institute (OCI) is part of the Pioneer Pacific College family of schools where students can earn a degree or diploma in Baking & Pastry or Culinary Arts.
Beyond skills training, we focus on a fresh farm-to-table approach to cooking, while teaching food ethics and the business of owning and operating a restaurant in today’s world of sustainable responsibility and practice. It’s a curriculum not often taught, but one we believe to be invaluable. It is truly a one-of-a-kind educational experience!
Students also have the opportunity to participate in the school’s open-to-the-public fine-dining restaurant – preparing and serving lunches, dinners, and desserts, prior to gaining on-the-job experience during externships at off-site properties. They will develop the kinds of skills our graduates will actually need in their careers. Our culinary curriculum is taught by knowledgeable, skilled and experienced industry
professionals who are committed to each student’s success.
