Information systems managers work with management and clients to understand their organizational goals and policies, assess the computing needs of the corporation, and hire staff to create and utilize necessary computer programming under their supervision. It takes a lot of experience to work your way up to a similar position. The median salary for this career is $120,950, and the projected growth is approximately 15%, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics.
