New program: Electronics Engineering Technology – Associate of Applied Science

EET-bannerAt Pioneer Pacific College, we pride ourselves on designing our educational programs around the needs and trends we see in the marketplace because this is what gives our students the best advantage for employment after graduation. Electronics Engineering Technology is one of our newest additions to our diverse and exciting curriculum offerings.

The sequence of the electronics courses provides a strong core in fundamental electronics leading into areas of computers, industrial electronics, and telecommunications. Theory courses are enhanced with “hands-on” lab work using industry-standard test equipment and practices to connect the theory to practical applications. General education courses round out the program by enhancing critical thinking, verbal and written communications skills, and knowledge of teamwork fundamentals and human relations.

This Electronics Engineering Technology program, which takes about 60 academic weeks to complete, is designed to develop a strong foundation in the practical application of electronics engineering knowledge, preparing the graduate for entry into a rewarding career in a variety of electronic technology fields at the associate degree level.
