Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies from University of Alaska-Fairbanks; Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Oregon State University; Bachelor of Arts in English and Criminal Justice; Masters in Criminal Justice at Boston University

Kimberly started working in the higher education system in 2010 after taking a few years off to raise her son. Prior to teaching, she had worked in the private sector of law enforcement, working as an Organizational Manager and background investigator for a background screening company, as well as had previously conducted investigations for a major satellite television company.

She is currently in the dissertation phases of her PhD in Public Safety with an emphasis in Criminal Justice.

Kimberly enjoys spending time with her son, cats, and dogs. When she is not with her family, she enjoys photography and running.
