Healthcare Administration – Associate of Applied Science

A successful medical operation relies on the organization and leadership of healthcare administrators. Also known as healthcare managers, these professionals are responsible for carefully planning and coordinating healthcare delivery.

Healthcare administrators work in a range of fields and healthcare settings. Some are specialists and supervise a specific practice area or department. Others are generalists and are responsible for an entire healthcare facility.

Healthcare administrators must possess solid communication skills as they interact with a variety of people in a professional office environment. One of the biggest satisfactions of working in the healthcare field is the knowledge that one is truly helping to make a difference in the lives of others.

Teresa Kappler“Treat it as you're working a job and be professional. Make sure you organize your time so you have time to study and time to have fun.“Teresa Kappler, Healthcare Administration Student
